Background

Amirah underwent her pupillage at Ariff & Co. under the tutelage of our Managing Partner, Wan Hilwanie Ariff and later joined Ariff & Co. in December 2020 as an Associate.

During her pupillage period, she was placed in various legal departments such as Litigation, Corporate and Conveyancing. She assisted in several corporate banking matters for maritime financing as well as general conveyancing matters. Under the Litigation field, she assisted and was trained to conduct execution for bankruptcy matters.

Amirah currently attends to Corporate matters including corporate banking and maritime financing for both conventional and Islamic banks. She also attends to shipping matters such as sales and purchase of vessels and shipbuilding contracts.
