Haslina is an experienced litigator having appeared before the different levels of the Malaysian Courts in civil litigation including the Industrial Court, consistently achieving favourable results for the clients.
Over the years, she has advised and represented a diverse group of clients ranging from Malaysians as well as foreign individuals, corporations and banks in a wide range of areas namely general debt recovery, contractual and commercial disputes, banking litigation and bankruptcy and corporate insolvency. She also has significant experience in the area of Maritime and Shipping.
In the areas of employment and Industrial Relations, she has reviewed and drafted employment contracts, employee handbooks, company HR policy manuals and Code of Ethics for multinational and local corporations to ensure that they are in compliance with local laws. She has also advised on various employment related issues, namely, statutory employment rights and obligations, employees’ performance, disciplinary action, dismissal, retrenchment and rightsizing in business reorganization and mergers and acquisition.
